Speech on My Childhood
INTRODUCTION
Respected Principal Sir/Madam, teachers and dear fellow students. Before this beautiful day. I have been given a precious chance to address the heart of you all. In my full effort and love I intend to say a few words regarding my topic- “My Childhood”.
BODY
We all grow up one day, to be adults. But there is no end to aging; we all will vanish into nothing like we came here from nothing. But something of us will forever remain with this world and that is the memories we shared with the world. From the moment we were born till we die we go through life experiencing whatever it throws at us. We form relationships and friendships, we share love and hatred, and we are a complex mix of multitude qualities. There are mainly 3 steps of human life before it stops to progress further with the physical body, namely Childhood, Adulthood and Old age. Well every stage has its own importance and value but the most valuable era in a human life is Childhood. Because it is the very childhood and our upbringing thatdetermines what kind of life we will live till we die. Our very mentality and thought pattern reflects what kind of childhood influence we had growing up. On a humorous note, being a child is not at all easy. Especially when you have to go to school and do homework when you rather would like to play and run with friends. Our school duties burden us more and we have much less time to play and enjoy. We all have our own version of childhood and different stories and incidents to relate to, and I’m going to talk about mine. My childhood has been a mixture of fun and play; I’ve shared joyous moments with my family, friends and relatives. We played games and shared our stories. I’ve travelled many places with my family, such as my paternal and maternal houses, I talked with my grandparents and they taught me life lessons, although I was immature to learn those lessons then but I’m understanding everything as I mature and grow up. The most precious aspect of childhood is the care, love and support our guardians give us which ultimately decides our thought process over time in majority of ways. The memories one makes in one’s childhood occupy a very special place in the heart of an individual and as we grow up and old, when our strength fades we take support from these very memories. Knowing this simple truth that everything which I call my childhood will one day vanish as I grow old and I would give everything I have to get that back but the sad truth is we can’t really do much, what’s left of my childhood will be a mere memory of lived days, days of love and affection, care and protection. I hope the memories of the childhood may ease your life a whole lot better and for good.
CONCLUSION
The ever changing times and tiding currents of life will sway us away from our real nature, nature which the maker of universe endowed us with at the very beginning, let us not lose all hope and never forget this magnificent yet simple truth of life, no matter how much we grow up we will forever be a child at heart.
Thank you all for being such a lovely and patient crowd.
