Speech on Corona Virus
Introduction
Respected principal, teachers and my dear friends as we all have suffered a deadly pandemic which emerged in China in the year 2019 called as covid-19 today I will be giving a speech on coronavirus, its effect on society and measures to control it.
Body
Coronavirus belongs to the family of viruses which spread very fast and can be very contagious through air, water, human touch and sharing food also. The first known case of coronavirus came in December 2019 in the Wahan city of China which is also called as the starting point of coronavirus. Coronavirus is also called as covid-19 because it started in the year 2019 in China itself. Coronavirus emerged as a global pandemic when cases were uncontrollable and coronavirus cases started spreading in different cities, states and countries of the world. In India the first case of coronavirus came in January 2020 which alarmed the National council of health and education, and lockdown was proposed to be imposed as soon as possible in the country. Initially the cases were from 1 to 10 but, as the time passed the cases went up to 100 to 200 in a single day. It is assumed that coronavirus spread in India due to the students which came from China or the tourists which went to China and came back to India after they impose lockdown in their country. In India, Mumbai and Kerala were the hotspot for coronavirus cases as they have the most busy international airports which allows other country people to come to India and that is why they were the hotspots. India saw its first lockdown on 23rd March 2020, because of uncontrollable cases in that time. The lockdown was supposed to be of 15 days or a month as the lifespan of coronavirus in human body is off for 3 days, but due to irresponsibility of people in the country the virus spread very fastly and uncontrollable and that is why the lockdown kept on extending and kill the year 2021 the lockdown is still going partially. Coronavirus can spread through nasal droplets coughing and touching also but after sometime it was declared as airborne which means the viruses are present in the air around an infected person which means now the virus can be spread through air inhaling in the area of an infected person. Coronavirus basically affects the respiratory system and in many cases it also affects the. The person infected with coronavirus experiences a low breathing rate and also experience is dizziness due to less oxygen getting inside the body. Coronavirus has a lifespan of 14 days and therefore it was suggested for the patients to go into current time for 14 days to get rid of the virus. People who have been infected for the first time can be infected the second time also due to the continuous variation in the coronavirus which means the virus is mutating continuously and can be infectious for the same person due to change in structure.
India itself recorded 33 million Covid cases by now which is very high. We saw almost three lockdowns and a lot of quarantine periods just to be safe from covid. India lost a lot of lives and the recovery rate of 92 to 92 % be recovered also very well. The first wave hit India from April to August 2020, second wave came in the February of 2021, and during this time period we saw approximately 4 lakh cases a day which is the highest recorded for any country in a single. Third wave of covid-19 is supposed to hit India by October 2021 which might or might not create a havoc. The carelessness of people and opening of markets can be the reason for fast spreading of this virus. People should always wear mask before going out and always wash their hands when they come home. Safe distance of six feet is it essential to maintain the health of a being. Coronavirus has proved that humans are indeed a danger to the nature as when lockdown occurred the nature itself cleared a lot of pollution and the largest ozone hole which was above Antarctica filled. Coronavirus also made people think about the essential things in life which is family .We should always be thankful to the healthcare system as they supported us and they were the heroes who helped the country in this deadly pandemic.
CONCLUSION
at last I want to suggest that people should take care of themselves as well as their loved ones, try to maintain social distancing and regular washing of hands plus mask can help stop this coronavirus .From 2020 to 2020 12 years of endemic has not everybody inside their homes and a normal life should be resume and for that we all have to come together and defeat this pandemic.
Remember
