Sit in groups. In your groups, talk about the following:
a.) The women went to the jungle to collect firewood, roots and fruits for their supper. Can you guess what supper is?
Ans. Supper is a light meal that is eaten in the evening or before going to bed.
b.) Think of some roots that you eat. Make a list.
Ans. Some of the roots I eat as vegetables are-

c.) If you had met a tiger like Burli did, what would you have done?
Ans. If I had met a tiger like Burli, I would have been very scared as I don’t have experience like Burli. But I would still try to remain calm and save myself from the tiger.
d.) Burli lit a fire to chase the tiger away. The tiger ran away. Burli also ran to her mother. What do you think happened to the fire? What should Burli have done after the tiger left?
Ans. I think that Burli might have left the fire deep inside the forest to run back to her mother because she was scared.
However, instead of just leaving the fire lit in the forest, Burli should have either doused the fire or should have taken the stick with herself when going back to her mother.
