Ans. Teesta starts from Tso Lhamo lake in North Sikkim.

Ans. Yes, I would like to go to the place where a river starts. This is because I want to see what such a place looks like and also know how a river forms and starts from its origin.

Ans. Teesta feels weak in the winter as the water in its source gets either dry or frozen, due to which Teesta receives less water making it weak. It feels stronger in the rainy season as the water from the rain provides strength to the river by giving it more water.

Ans. We can stop people from throwing waste into rivers by holding awareness campaigns highlighting the importance of keeping our rivers clean. We should also tell our friends and family the negative effects of throwing waste into rivers.

Have you ever been to a picnic at any riverside? If yes, what have you done with the leftover food and other waste?
Ans. Yes, I have been to a picnic at a riverside. After we were done enjoying our picnic and eating delicious food, we took the leftover food and other waste and put them in a large garbage bag. We then threw the garbage into a big garbage bin that was kept for visitors to throw their garbage into.
How can you contribute to keep River Teesta clean?
Ans. I can contribute in keeping the River Teesta clean by-
1.) Not throwing waste in the river.
2.) Telling my friends and family to not throw waste in the river.
3.) Making posters to make people aware about the importance of keeping the river clean and pasting it in public places.

Ans. Yes, I have been to a seaside. No, the water from the sea is not drinkable. This is because seawater is very salty, so we cannot drink it.
