Answer. I liked the most in the picture is how the little boy is happy to get cotton candy and holding his mother’s hand.

Answer. I see two animals and thirty seven toys in the picture.
I can see four red pandas, three soft toy dogs, five horses, one cow, two bat-ball sets, eight dolls, six balls, four other balloons, one toy car, three soft toys.
iii) Is there anything that you think is missing? Would you like to add to the things that are shown in this picture?
Answer. I think other toy cars, guns are missing from the picture.
Yes, I would like to add more toy cars, guns and variations of indoor games for children in this picture.
iv) Can you see our state animal in the picture? What is it called?
Answer. Yes, I can see our state animal in the picture.
It is called red panda.
The Flower and the Bee
i) Who lived on the branch of a large beautiful Banyan tree?
Answer. Two bees Mitha and Meethi lived on the branch of a large beautiful banyan tree.
ii) Why was Meethi blown far-far away?
Answer. Meethi was blown far-far away due to the presence of strong wind that was flowing outside.
iii) Have you seen bees flying? Where are they mostly seen?
Answer. Yes, I have seen bees flying.
Bees are mostly seen in the beehives that they make in the branches of big trees. They also make beehives on the walls of old house.
iv) How did Meethi save herself? What do you do when someone tries to harm you?
Answer. Meethi saved herself by forgetting about her troubles and humming the song that both Mitha and meeting used to hum together.
When some tries to harm me I try to find out solution and save myself with ideas.
v) What happened when Meethi started humming a song?
Answer. When Meethi started humming a song a strange thing happened. The flower shook a little slowly and its petals began to open. Meethi became free soon. She unfolded her wings and flew away with joy.

Answer. If I see an animal like the dog I will bring water and food for it immediately. I will take it to a nearby NGO where people look after for street dogs. They can check his problem and give him medicine which will help to be cured. Then I will bring it home with me and keep it there.
ii) How do you think the dog feels when it is lonely?
Answer. I think the dog feels sad and clueless about his life when it is lonely.
iii) How do people help animals who are hurt and lonely?
Answer. People help hurt and lonely animals by taking them in proper shelter. They give them food and water first. When they start feeling better they take them to dog’s shelter.
iv) When you go back from school you must have seen many animals on the road, on the field or other different places in your neighborhood. Look at them. You might see them crying, they might be hurt and hungry or sick and lost.
Observe them carefully and find out some things about them. When you come home note down what you have seen, your teacher will help you to complete the table given below in the class.

1.) Let’s Talk And Write.
i) Why was Shabnam angry with her Ammi? What did she do?
Answer. Shabnam told her ammi that her phone battery dried out and she was bored. Her mother suggested her to go out and play with friends or do her homework. But she did not like it and got angry.
She stamped her feet on the ground in anger. She walked towards the courtyard of their house in dark.
ii) Do you get angry? When? What do you do?
Answer. Yes, I do get angry.
When I face misjudgement in games or anything with friends I get angry.
I just try to speak up my point loudly. If they do not listen I move out from that place.
iii) Did Shabnam find the bright screens beautiful? What were the things that attracted her?
Answer. Shabnam found the bright screens strange which covered a huge space.
She was attracted to many games of the screens on which she just had to touch for playing. There were bright screens with songs and she started to sing along with it. There was screens of poem which she started to read. There were animals’ screens for which she had to just cover ears and eyes with goggles to be with animals.
iv) What happened to her after many days in the jungle of screens?
Answer. after many days in the jungle of screens, one day Shabnam’s way back from the forest became longer and slower. It was difficult for her to run towards the jungle. She was unable to see anything in the bright light of the jungle. She could not open her eyes for long time. When she slept her eyes became heavy. She had headache and felt uneasy.
v) Why did she fall sick?
Answer. She fell sick for staying long time with the bright and big screens. The light and high sound affected her brain and nerves. It means she got the result of using mobile phone for long time without any break. It is important to go out and play with friends. Getting stuck into video games and digital platforms can bring such problems like Shabnam.
vi) Do you think you are also surrounded by such a jungle?
Answer. No, I am not surrounded by such a jungle. My parents do not allow me to use or spend time much in mobile phones. They encourage me to go out and spend time in outdoor activities, games and with friends.
