Answer:Upadhyay was excellent at academics. He excelled under the guidance of his maternal uncle and aunt. Sikar presented him with his diploma from high school.He passed the Board exam first, and Maharaja Kalyan Singh of Sikhar awarded him a gold medal. He also received a monthly scholarship of 10 rupees and 250 rupees for his books.He studied intermediate at Pilani’s Birla College. He did B. A at the Sanatan Dharma College, in 1939 & graduated in first division. He enrolled at St. John’s College, Agra, to earn a Master’s degree in English literature, but a cousin’s illness prevented him from taking the final year exam. His maternal uncle convinced him to sit for the public administrations test, where he got chosen however declined to join the administrations by virtue of his advantage in working with the average person. He joined the public sector after earning a B.T. from Prayag.
2.) Write about Upadhyay’s view regarding western concept in India.
Answer:Dindayal Upadhyay was convinced that India as an independent nation can’t rely upon western concept like individualism, democracy, socialism, communism, capitalism etc. He was of the opinion that the Indian political system after independence was built on these superficial western foundations rather than on the enduring customs of India’s ancient culture. He was of the opinion that the Indian intellect was getting sun flowery by western theories and ideologies and consequently there was a big roadblock on the growth and expansion of original Bharatiya thought.He was open to new technology, but he wanted it to be used to meet Indian needs. Dindayal advocated for constructive behavior. When the Government was acting in the right way, he urged his followers to work with it and fiercely oppose it. He was a fan of swaraj, which the Bharatiya Janata Party promoted until the end of the 20th century. He prioritized the nation’s interests above all else. He was, in every way, a true patriot.
