Classification of object
In daily life, this kind of things you can see many times. But for the proper analysis of this object we can classify them.
There are a number of varieties of objects everywhere.
Classification technique is used by scientists to help us understand the things easily. All objects around us are made up of one or more than one materials. Somehow they are showing same characteristics as means made from same material. Rather than some are made from different material.
For this we use classification. It helps to identify their difference easily. When objects are classified, they are simply put into a group with other similar things or objects.
For example, if we are going for shopping in Mall. We see that all things are arranged properly in shops. All kind of home cleaner of all brands are in one compartment, all kind of edible things of all differentdifferent brand in one side. What do you things why this arranged in this manner?
This kind of Sorting is done in Malls just because of it is easy to identify and locate perfectly things. It reduces our time of shopping.
Objects can be classified into two main categories i.e. Living Things and Non-Living Things.
Living things can be classified into plant and animals.
Non-living things can be classified by their shape, size, colour, texture, etc.

Answer- Materials classified according to their similarities, interrelationships and Difference of their properties.
Living object –
Living objects divide into two main groups i.e. Plant and Animals.
Living objects need basic things like air, water, food for survive in universe.
Plant object – Mango tree, Rose plant, etc.
Animal object – Human being, Cat, Tiger, Dog, Fish, etc.
Non-living object –
Non-living objects can be classified according to several properties, size, shape, thickness, etc.
Due to this they are classify in
a) Objects made from wood
Wood is the most eco-friendly material we use. This is obtained by Nature. Paper is also obtained from plant.
Examples- Tables, Furniture, Doors and Windows, etc.
Question 1) In Cinema Hall, the interior mostly made up of wooden panel, why is this?
Answer- In cinema halls number of sound reflection is produced and due to this echo is produced. So it is necessary to absorb this echo. Wood is good sound absorber. Therefore, interior mostly made up of wooden panel.
b) Objects made from Plastic
Plastics are organic material.
Examples – Polythene things, Chairs, Dishes, stationary things, etc.
c) Objects made from Metal
Metals are naturally present in below the earth level. We can obtain this with the help of Mining. Metal objects are Lustrous in nature. Non-metal and Metalloids Non- Lustrous in nature.
Examples -Iron, Aluminum, Steel, Copper, etc.
d) Objects made from Glass-
Glass is a solid-like and transparent material that is used Numerous applications in our daily lives.
Windows and Doors, Mug, Glass, Decorative things, etc.
e) Objects made from Rubber-
Rubber is naturally obtained from the plant. Rubber is elastic in Nature. Household rubber items include boots, raincoats, Mattresses and cushions, pillows, hot water bottles, etc.
Question 1) why most of the balloons, tyres and footballs made of rubber?
Answer- Air is filled in balloons, tyres and footballs and rubber are soft as well as flexible. Therefore this substance made of rubber.
